George Pickett (1825-1875) Confederate General from Virginia. Before the war Pickett was a lawyer. He also graduated from West Point (last in his class) in 1846. He was immortalized in "Pickett's Charge" during the third day at Gettysburg. After the war he entered the insurance business in Virginia. |
